Product Description
Gaviscon Double Action works in two ways to relieve both heartburn and indigestion.
1) Quickly neutralizes excess stomach acid to relieve pain and discomfort.
2) Forms a protective barrier over the stomach contents which helps to prevent acid from flowing back up into the esophagus (food pipe).*The effect on individuals may vary.

Ingredients
Each 10ml of oral suspension contains 500 mg Sodium alginate, 213mg sodium bicarbonate and 325mg calcium carbonate as active ingredients. Each chewable tablet contains 250mg sodium alginate, 106.5mg sodium bicarbonate and 187.5mg calcium carbonate as the active ingredients.
Storage Instructions
Do not use this product after the expiry date shown. Use within 6 months of opening. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not store above 30°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
Usage Information
For oral use. Shake well before use. Adults and children over 12 years: take 10-20ml (two to four 5ml spoonfuls) after meals and at a bedtime, up to four times a day. For tablet format: when symptoms occur take two to four tablets after meal and at a bedtime, up to four times a day. Chew thoroughly before swallowing. Children under 12 years: not to be given unless recommended by doctor.If symptoms persist after 7 days consult your doctor.
